The storm is dark and heavy and I can't afford to slip
A brutal and relentless cloud that follows me around
It's always right behind me, so I can't slow down

This is my life, my struggle, it's no way to live
I can see the path ahead, and see the one I've lived
Full of pain and doubt and suffering and I know it's just not fair

There's no resolution to this situation here
Just a never-ending marathon where I outrun my fear
It's exhausting but I always find the energy I need
